Power of AIUB
July 31, 2011 – 2:12 PM
This particular series of events is dedicated for the AIUB students so that they can get a clear picture of the available Microsoft services available for them. The first event in this series held at AIUB Auditorium on February 8, 2011 at 3:00 PM. The auditorium was completely filled with enthusiastic students from various departments, but most of them were from the department of Computer Science.
AIUB Microsoft IT Academy Instructor and MSP Bangladesh Country Lead Niaz Morshed (me) was the initiator and key speaker in that seminar. AIUB MSP Tanbeen Amin talked about the 3D Game Assets creation using 3D Studio Max for creating games in XNA Game Studio. MSP Bangladesh Events & Marketing Lead Kazi Mamun showed how to use MSDN Academic Alliance Software Center (ELMS) for generating product keys for and download the Microsoft software.
AIUB CS Faculty Member Avishek Ahmed also gave a wonderful speech on the ImagineCup 2011 Bangladesh Round. Throughout the seminar, Niaz Morshed talked about the power of the AIUB students, how to be recruited in the Microsoft Student Partners network, courses offered by AIUB Microsoft IT Academy, MSDN Academic Alliance for students, faculty members and officers of AIUB, Microsoft Students to Business, Microsoft Dream Build Play 2011 game development tournament etc.
All the students and the teachers present in that seminar were given an ImagineCup 2011 T-Shirt after all the speakers have delivered their speeches. Niaz Morshed requested the students to wear it and shout out loud saying “Let’s bring the cup to AIUB!”. The students did it with great enthusiasm and interest. Finally, there was a question-answer session when loads of queries were made by the students and Niaz Morshed satisfied them with answering in detail. The most interactive students won the original Silver Disc of Microsoft Expression Studio 4 Ultimate Edition. Radio Today, New Age and Computer Barta covered the event as the media partners of Microsoft Student Partners Bangladesh.
